My favorite part of the whole night was just before we got our food, Dom turned to me and said, "This is like a sneak-preview of our wedding, huh?" I just love him so much. This was a wonderful and perfect night.

Oh How Engaging!
So over the winter holidays my fiance and I had an engagement party in New Jersey hosted by my beautiful sister-in-law Melissa. All the decorations were hand-made and the food was to die for!

Favorites.
I've been thinking a lot about General Conference lately, and I came across some pictures of my favorite fiance and myself at the most recent one in October. These pictures are some of my absolute all-time favorite pictures of us. They're just so silly! When I look at them I can't help but smile and remember the very beginning of our engagement. This was one of the best weekends of my whole life. I'm so lucky I have him . . . and I'm SO thrilled this engagement is almost over! Wooo! 152 days left, baby!

22 Years Young
Today is my birthday.
Normally I like to lay low this day every year - any time I've tried to have some sort of fun-tastic time it has gone down the drain. NOT THIS YEAR! My fool-proof plan has arrived: A day with my sweetheart, just him & me.
The 14th started out absolutely perfect! The darling, dear, and sweet love of my life sent me this little diddy of a text:
Meaning, I got to doze off dreaming of my one love, and wake up to find him in my arms! Well, not until 12:30pm at least. But still! In my arms is a lot better than out of them, or in Utah.
Honestly, that could have been it and my day would have been picture-perfect. But my hubby-to-be insisted on taking me out to dinner. Olive Garden it was! Yummy pasta, free bread & salad, and a drink that will knock your socks off it's so delicious!!
Seriously though. Today was one of the best days of my life. And really, I owe it all to the Mr.&Mrs. that created this silly boy:
If it weren't for their birthday gift of sending him to be with me, I don't know if I would have done much of anything at all. But I get sweet kisses and hugs from my sweet fiance.

At last!
It's the day after Christmas and at last I get to see my fiance again!
The picture isn't so great - I'm half asleep and not wearing make-up - he's been terribly sick the past two days throwing up and whatnot. But the point is we're together and that deserves some sort of celebration!

Please & Thank You!
This marks the beginning of the rest of our life! Well, not really. But it does mark the beginning of our blog! And, in my opinion, that is something to be excited about.
I guess before going too far, I should introduce us a little bit.
My name is Megan. I will be the primary poster to this blog. Things I love include cooking, crafting, creating, and cuddling. My favorite color is yellow and my favorite animals are giraffes, pandas, and red foxes. I LOVE children and can't wait to one day be a mother.
My fiance is Dom. On a good day I might be able to convince him to update the blog, but it isn't likely. Things he loves include playing baseball, playing guitar, and playing any kind of game. He has a passion for teaching and his favorite food is pizza.
We are incredible in love. We can't seem to spend enough time together. We have been together for 3.5 years. We love food and our families. And last but not least, we are both members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

I think what makes me most excited and happy when looking at these pictures are the two of us in our childhood. It's so fun to think that one day there will be a tiny little mix of the two of us. Our children will get all their good looks from him. He was seriously the most adorable baby in the entire world! Ah! I just love it. I get so excited when I think about our future family and the little adventures our family will have.
